Speed Bumps are Annoying

It's pretty annoying to drive in Brazil. All of the roads are littered with speed bumps, about every 200 meters there's a speed bump... more in the cities. There are police here, but I don't think there are enough to enforce trafic laws, so they use speed bumps to enforce the law instead. I'm sure the lack of a large patroling police force also contributes to the need for home security here... discussed yesterday. The police force here responds to calls from residents, and also lightly patrols the cities.
