Jau Weather

It can get pretty hot here in Jau, but, there is some help. When it is hot here for several days, a lot of moisture is sucked up into the atmosphere from plants and bodies of water. Before long, the rains come to cool things off. It's a self-regulating cycle that really helps during the summer. Also, this is a summer phenomenon only. Other seasons aren't hot enough to power this weather cycle... summer is the rainy season here.

Another thing that helps is the latitude. At lower latitudes, the days don't get as long as they do during the summer at high latitudes (for example, the sun never sets in Alaska during summer). It's dark at 8:30 pm, and that's with daylight savings time. That gives more time for it to cool off at night before I need to go to bed.

It reaches 100 degrees Faheinheit here most days. But it's manageable.
