New Years Eve was rained out.
I had a big dinner with my Brazilian family. We watched Brazilian New Year's Eve TV programs. Instead of a ball dropping, they do a bunch of fireworks. Copacabana beach in Rio has 2 Million people crowding around for the midnight fireworks show!
After that, I went to a party at the house of Renan's grandmother. Lots of family there. After that, we drove around for a little bit looking for activity, but the night was a wash out. Too bad.
